The 3W lightbulb features a 10mm GU10 base connector and gives off a warm white colour when lit. Its 300mAh built-in battery allows it to stay powered during loadshedding. The light bulb takes around 5 hours to fully charge to 100% and can easily be charged by simply leaving the light turned on when there's no loadshedding. If your light is turned on and a power outage or loadshedding occurs, then the light bulb goes into emergency mode, changing to a cool white colour. While in emergency mode, the brightness can be manually adjusted between 3 pre-configured settings and can sustain up to 5 hours of additional use during loadshedding at the 25% brightness setting. At the 50% brightness setting, you can get up to 3 hours of use while at the 100% brightness setting, you can get up to 1.5 hours of additional hours of use.
